We are so happy to finally invite our beloved friends and family to our wedding celebration! Going into our 13th year together, everyday still feels as giddy and magical as the year we first fell in love.

(So cheesy, but SOOO true.)

We are celebrating our love over three days, outdoors, and in our style. We hope for this to be a relaxing and whimsical wedding where we can play games, roast smores, and cozy up next to some campfires. More like a retreat or family reunion, but with a marraige ceremony.

It's going to be awesome and we can't wait to spend it with you!

We will continue to update the website with more information on the wedding as it comes up.

If you are unable to make the wedding, we are looking into streaming options, so you can celebrate from home!

The Venue

We have booked Venture Retreat Center April 7th - April 9th! That means we have 3 days to celebrate!

We looked for a venue in close proximity to Evandra's mother's resting place, so we can visit on the day of the wedding. Venture exceeded our expectations!

Venture is an adorable serene place to connect with nature, and family. It has multiple gorgeous areas for our ceremony, that we are very excited about. Their clean, cozy, and spacious glamping tents are located all over the property with a variety of options and enough for everyone to stay in! We would love our guest to overnight on the property, if they wish. So, we can have as much time as possible to connect with everyone.

Expect cozy fire circles and beautiful views of the stars overnight.

Lodging Options

Day 1

April 7, 2026

3pm. Check-in/Load-in

We arrive at the venue, begin to set up anything necessary, get comfortable.

4pm. Rehearsal

Wedding party will go to ceremony cite for the rehearsal. Guests are encouraged to entertain themselves and socialize away from ceremony cite to avoid ruining surprises! Activities will be available. You may also bring your own!

6pm. Rehearsal Dinner

All guest are welcomed to join! We are planning on a modest but comforting vegan soup dinner. Volunteers to make soup wanted! Recipes, and ingredients will be provided.

7:20pm. Wacky PJ Movie Night!

Join us in watching the Groom's favorite childhood film The Princess Bride! Please wear your funniest, silliest, or boldest PJ's! Ideally they should be warm too, if not bring blankets/jackets/warm socks and shoes. The movie will be set up outdoors if weather permits, with the option to move inside if necesary. We will supply popcorn!

9pm. Quiet Hours begin

Amplified sound must be turned off. Socializing may continue at respectful volume levels.

Day 2

April 8, 2026

THE WEDDING DAY

TBD. Visit Josephine's Tree

We are visiting Evandra's mother's resting place before the wedding ceremony. We invite family and friends who knew Josephine to join us in paying our respects, in viewing special "vows" shared in her memory.

TBD. Wedding Party Photos

Wedding party will leave to take photos at Butano State Park around the corner from Venture Retreat Center. This will be private, so we don't spoil the outfit reveals ;)

TBD. Wedding Ceremony

It's finally happening! Join us for a sweet ceremony officiated by our dear Grandfather Richard.

TBD. Intermission

We will have an "intermission" in place of a "cocktail hour". It's only fitting! We will have snacks, refreshments, and lawn games available for entertainment.

TBD. Reception Dinner

Get ready for some yummy vegan food! We have not chosen our caterer yet, but we have some great options, and tastings lined up.

TBD. Speeches & Dances!

Speeches will be predetermined. Logan and Evandra will have a first dance. The parent spotlight is still TBD.

TBD. Party Time!

The dance floor will be open to all those who wish to dance. We will also have table games a plenty, and fire circles to socialize around!

9pm. Quiet Hours begin

Amplified sound must be turned off. Socializing may continue at respectful volume levels.

Day 3

April 9, 2026

8am. Farewell Breakfast

We plan to have pastries, fruit, coffee and tea available for breakfast. So, we all get a relaxing chance to say our goodbyes.

9am. Strike!

Time to get out of there! We are so lucky to have an extra day at our venue. This means we can relax after the party. After enjoying our breakfast and our goodbyes, we will pack up our rentals and belongings and head home.

11am. Check-out

All guest are expected to leave by 11am.

We still love you if you can't make it! If you are unable to attend, or if these conditions do not suit you, we are looking into live streaming the ceremony. If we are unable to livestream we will upload a video immediately after the ceremony. If you would like to celebrate us from the comfort of your home, please let us know below.

Outside Only Event in April

Early April in Half Moon Bay has a 10-20% chance of rain. With this in mind, guest will need to be flexible, and go with the flow. We will take weather precautions such as tents, but there will not be space indoors for the full event. Adjustments to the schedule for the wedding day may be necessary to accommodate a dry ceremony. Guest should pack for unexpected weather. Please consider your warmth and comfort over the dress code.

Child Friendly Event

This is a child friendly event. Adults are expected to act appropriately and be understanding if a little child related chaos interrupts the event. We are looking into child care options.

A Sober Event

This is a SOBER event. We will not be serving alcohol. Neither alcohol nor any kind of intoxication will be tolerated at the event. Noticably intoxicated individuals may be asked to leave. Keep it cool.

All Vegan Catering

We will have a fully vegan Rehearsal Dinner and Reception Dinner. A lot of thought is going into making a menu that everyone will enjoy, including options for all of those who have dietary restrictions. We are not interested in hearing criticisms on our decision to abstain from animal products in our celebration.
